Petalos del Bierzo 2017 returns to the market to defend, for another year running, its position as one of the best wines in the world in terms of value for money. The title was well deserved after being named by Parker as the best Spanish wine considering its characteristics and price, and remains one of the most prominent to this day.
One of its secrets is the variety from which it is made, the Mencía, which It is characterized by being amiable, easy to drink and gastronomic. Without a doubt, the success of Petalos del Bierzo 2017 is also due to the fact that the Palacios family - a name that always harks at quality, know-how and success in wine -is responsible for its production
Petals of Bierzo 2017 is, for all of theabove, an excellent way to get to know Bierzo, an area benefitting from the climatic characteristics of both Castile and Galicia, and of course the wines of Descendants of J. Palacios, inspired by the winery's principles -spiritual tradition; respect for the land and nature; and transparency in the expression of the vineyard and culture-, they offer us moments of great beauty and pleasure.
The presentation of Petals of Bierzo 2017, as an aside, follows the same design of the 2016 vintage - created by Xano Armenter -, with a slight color variation that transmits the wine's characteristic jovial and cheerful personality to the bottle.
