Dominio de Tares Cepas Viejas 2016 (Mencía)
- View: Cherry red with good depth and a slow tear.
- Nose: Noble aromas drink: fresh ripe fruit, more red which we find in the mouth, but both present, spicy notes of pepper and cocoa, lactic acid and protein in the foreground, and a fresh aromas, flavors type smoky, earthy and biscuits and cinnamon. Complex, round, balanced.
- Mouth: the same pattern as in smell, but with ripe black fruit, sweet entry, intense, medium bodied and light, juicy step, with good persistence and a slightly bitter end, without aggressiveness.
VINEYARD: Vineyards growing on terraces and slopes with gravel soils slate.
AGEING: malolactic fermentation in American oak barrels and aged for 9 months in new and used barrels of French and American oak.
PAIRING: beef filet, marinated meats.
RECOMMENDED SERVING TEMPERATURE: 16-18 °C
