Ixsir Altitudes 2015

Warmth, sharpness, and ripeness are key here. Strawberries, oak and cassis on the nose. The open, accessible palate structure is enlivened by blackberry and cassis with a hint of green pepper, with ripe, soft tannins lending complexity; and a long, silky finish.

Elegant light yellow with bright nuances came through. It smells a little like white flowers and lemon. The Ixsir Altitudes 2014 seemed lighter than previous years.
I paired it with Mediterranean cuisine.
A client gave it to me.

- Ixsir Altitudes:
Elegant starbright gold in the glass with an exquisite bouquet of floral aromas, hints of Muscat and notes of grapefruit on the nose On the palate, this floral and fruity blend has soft, balanced acidity and spicy undertones
- Pairing:
The freshness of the acidity in this wine will pair nicely with grilled chicken.

I toasted with a client of mine.
Opaque red with brownish edges. It smells like wild berries. I really enjoyed the lingering finish.
The best pairing would have been fish.
