Château Musar

The legendary winery of Château Musar is a story that has its roots in the cradle of viticulture, that is, in the Lebanese Bekaa Valley, where the most ancient testimonies of wine production meet, bringing us back to the wines of almost six thousand years ago. We are precisely in Lebanon, a few tens of kilometers east of Beirut, the capital. The scenario is that of a place particularly suited to the production of great wines, discovered and somehow "built" thanks to the intuitive genius of Gaston Hochar. The latter, in 1930, after a long journey in the French region of Bordeaux to the discovery of the prestigious Bordeaux labels, returned with the conviction that in Lebanon the climatic conditions and the compositions of the land would allow him to produce equally important wines

It has a dark red colour. If you are a fan of red fruit compote, then this wine is perfect for you. A little too acid although it depends on the taste of each person.
I do not recommend pairing this red of Chateau Musar with meat.
A red which I enjoyed with my friends.
We drank it in a restaurant.
A great wine.

Miscela di rosso e marrone. Un rosso che odora di ciliegia e liquirizia. La struttura è aspra.
Lo bevemmo ad un barbecue.
Ho potuto provarlo in una degustazione.
Nelle enoteche finisce sempre subito.
E' raccomandabile servire il rosso Chateau Musar 1977 ad una temperatura adeguata.

We order it in a supper with working colleagues.
The colour was between red and brown. Good coffee aromas. Astringent, rough taste.
It paired well with the food.

Cherry colour with brown edges. Nuances of chocolate. I liked the Chateau Musar for its rough taste.
Chateau Musar and deer stew, just great.
I gave it as a gift to my brother and he absolutely loved it.
