Westvleteren 8 has good drinkability and a nice balance but it is not a beer to refresh but a gourmet beer. It pares well with shrimp and it's very usable in the preparation of dishes and recipes.

Westvleteren is one of the best beers I've had.

It commonly hard to get (only sold in the monastery where do you have to make an appointment, and how much you can take a box every two months) and you put the chip into a positive when it comes to test it and the truth is that not disappointed at all.

The sum in a medium-bodied beer, quite strong and that in terms of gas / bubbles remains at the limit of what I personally like without actually passing it.

If you like beer the need to try. Also in Uvinum it is a surprising price compared with the same stores in Brussels!
