Brewed from a recipe of the eighteenth century, this beer is spiced with coriander, giving it a very fresh aftertaste. A nice biscuit flavor mingles the flavors of hops and coriander notes. Bringing a finish sour and sweet mouth, with hints of dark fruit, chocolate and coriander. Elected best beer in the world "Winter Ale World Beer Championships" in 1997, she won a gold medal at the Beer Festival in Stockholm in 1998. Not for sale to minors. Cerveza Traquair Jacobite Ale

The Traquair Jacobite Ale presents a very dark red, almost black. Made with coriander combined with roasted malt gives it a herbaceous aroma. In the mouth it is intense and spicy with a very complex balance of hops and malt, finishing with a pleasant taste of chocolate, black grapes and the unmistakable citrus flavor of cilantro.

In recent years, Scotland knows a real renewal of the brewery plan. Traquair House in the brewery is one of the finest examples. Also, the Traquair Jacobite Ale, one of the jewels of their production is based on a recipe from the eighteenth century. Spicy Cilantro, it is a form of tribute to the Jacobite rebellion that took place in 1745 in England. The Scottish Beer presents a deep black color with ruby highlights, accompanied by a fine white foam. The nose is beautiful, between porto notes, coriander, roasted malt and chocolate. The palate is complex, divided between the wall and roasted fruit in attack buttons. The end is both spicy and dry. This wonderful beer will remind some ways the great Trappist beers. A great moment of tasting.
