Saison Dupont

Saison Dupont is a classic Belgian farmhouse ale characterised by a big, foamy head, a cut-grass aroma and a long, dry finish redolent of champagne.

Cerveza Saison Dupont

The Saison Dupont is a top-fermented beer with a second fermentation in the bottle. Since 1844, this beer was made in the farm-brewery in winter. Then this beer had a second re-fermentation in barrels, and in summer is served the "saisoniers" who were working in the fields. Probably why the Saison Dupont is considered one of the best Belgian beers season. Coppery blond color, spicy hop bitterness is topped by green apple, grapefruit and an underlying sweet yeast character.

Saison Dupont Is a copper lager with a pronounced dry hop this makes the beer an excellent thirst quencher. The beer is also ideal to drink with a dish of eels or clams.

In the Anglo-Saxon world, to beers of this kind, it is called "summer ales"; Belgium, however, the product is a quintessential summer wonder called, significantly, "saison".
Among the best examples - perhaps the most delicious of all - there is this workhorse of Brasserie Dupont of Tourpes-Leuze, in the Province of Hainaut, near Tournai. .
Its color is orange reflections, its taste is fruity with lemon NOTES slightly spicy. The finish is dry with a strong tone of hops.

Brewed since 1844 in the Farm-Brasserie Dupont, the Saison Dupont is a Belgian beer, today a benchmark of "Belgian Season"! Brewed with freshly harvested hops in late summer, the beer that matured during the winter was timely for the first month of spring! In a buttercup yellow color and slightly cloudy once in glass, Saison Dupont develops a persistent foam lace on the sides of the glass. It gives off a strong smell of yeast which is unable to mask some slightly malty spikes. On warming, the smell is more fruity and hops aromas begin to be noticeable. The entrance mouth is fruity and sweet but it is immediately followed by a wave hoppy bitterness that grows in strength as and extent of tasting. The bitterness quickly peaked before sharing the finish with honeyed and fruity flavors that come together soften.
