Authentic monastery beer, Orval is manufactured following a methodical production process, which has made them win a legion of followers in all the world. This is so much so that stores, bars and other distribution sites are frequently left without stock. Likewise, it deals with one of the few beers in the world with the Trappist denomination, that it had some particular properties recognized with regard to quality in 1985. A great Belgian beer fermented with spring water, malted from the spring barley, aromatic hop and liquid caramel from sugar. Quality, tradition and flavor!
Description of Orval
- Appearance: The color is deep golden, almost amber, to serve her, is covered with a dense white lather.
- Aroma: The aroma is very fruity, with a predominance of citrus, like lemon, and herbal and spicy notes marked, very attractive.
- Body / Taste: The taste is very fruity, with clear presence of lemon and orange sugary sweetened by notes of malt and a fund that harmonizes the whole.

Located within the confines of the Abbey, the Orval Brewery was created in 1931 to finance the enormous reconstruction works of Orval. It has hired lay workers from the outset, including the master brewer, Pappenheimer, who invented the recipe. The brewer’s commercial policy is adapted to the values of the monastic community. Income from Royalties generated from the brand name go to social welfare works and the maintenance of the buildings.More about the Winery
