Belgium Achouffe Brewery Lager fine palate with notes and herbaceous & eacute es houblonn & eacute es.
Capacity: 33cl
Level: 9 °
Origin: Belgium
In the late 70s, two brothers-Pierre Gobron and Christian Bauweraerts, decided to create their own beer in their own brewery. With less than 5000 they begin their "chouffe story". The Achouffe brewery knows a development that allows them to engage full-time in the adventure. The first brew of the Chouffe (49L) is made in 1982. Very quickly, they want to expand into other countries. They are very well received by the Dutch. Today, more than 20 countries worldwide are supplied. In 2006, the brewery was purchased by Duvel Moortgat Brewery, with the aim to develop the potential of the brewery. Houblon Chouffe beer was brewed for the first time in 2006. It is an India Pale Ale beer type, offering a harmonious balance between a pleasant fruity and well pronounced bitterness. Three types of hops used in its composition. Houblon Chouffe is the unfiltered and fermented in the bottle. Its opaque blond dress is topped by a fine and abundant foam. His nose is powerfully hopped with notes of yeast, malt, lemon and spices. Fine on the palate, herbaceous notes and hopped proved.

Houblon Chouffe

Belgian beer style India Pale Ale, refermentada bottled unfiltered and unpasteurized, hence cloudy. It has an orange color and rich lather. This beer is a perfect balance between the bitterness of hops and fruit flavors.

Beer unfiltered, unpasteurized, fermented in the bottle, for which they were used Tomahawk entered into boiling hops to give the bitterness background, delicate and spicy Saaz, for the floral and citrusy aroma and Amarillo. Straw yellow, slightly opalescent, has huge foam and creamy, dense and long finish, which leaves the famous lace on the edge of the glass. It has a surprising floral aroma, rich and complex, reminiscent of white flowers mature, very dell'agrumato and a hint of citric, rustic finish. The body is quite slender, hides very well the 9th ABV twice, or almost, the shade of a regular IPA, and can only be massively bitter, dry and dry, but also surprising drinkability. To compensate for the lack of the "special" produced exclusively of the famous "water of Burton" have been added in the water of fermentation specific mineral salts, such as calcium sulphate, which have in this beer 50% of bitter than the Orval, considered one of the beers more "love" of the Belgian brewing scene.
