The famous and crazy Flying Dog brewery treats us as usual with a new type of beer Porter: Gonzo Imperial Porter. For the record this drawn limited edition beer was brewed in honor of Dr. Hunter S. Thompson, the famous inventor of gonzo journalism that inspired Terry Gilliam later for making the film Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. The Gonzo Imperial Porter is brewed on the basis of two hops, the warrior and the northern brewer, and develops as all beers Wear a characteristic color, almost black, and a light brown foam, fine and compact. When tasting the flavors are present and readily acknowledges malts with aromas of coffee and vanilla, as a slight bitterness on the finish. This beer is ideal with strong cheeses and chocolate desserts or coffee.
