The Black Sheep Ale is an English beer brewed by Black Sheep Brewery (the black sheep). It is an amber beer brewed with two varieties of barley malt, Malt Crystal Malt and Marris Otter and with three varieties of hops, "Golding", the "challenger" and "Progress". The Black Sheep Ale is a beer amber color with mahogany reflection which has an average effervescence. It is covered with a thin layer of foam at low persistence, which is typical for an English beer. It reveals powerful aromas on the nose of hops with macerated fruit aromas and roasted coffee beans accompanied light grassy peaks. In the mouth, we discover a rich and fruity flavors, evoking citrus fruits as well as red fruits. These are followed by powerful notes of roasted coffee and roasted grain malt character that gives this beer. Yet it is the Goldings hops who comes to bring this key grain taste! Everything is supervised by a bitter, present throughout the tasting, and closing in the late dry and bitter mouth. The Black Sheep Ale beer type, has been rewarded many times in many salons where she received an award. She has collected a dozen medals between 1995 and 2010, and that, in different countries.
