Elaboration of Louis Jadot Beaujolais Villages 375ml 1999
Louis Jadot Beaujolais Villages 375ml 1999 (Gamay)
Intensely fragrant and crisp, Beaujolais-Villages Jadot is a vivacious, succulent wine of exceptional charm full of bright, floral fruit flavors underscored by youthful, peppery notes and plump tannins. Delicious slightly chilled, its lively freshness is best appreciated when young. To enhance the quality of the wine, Jadot also practices a "réplis," whereby wines from various crus of Beaujolais are declassified and added to the blend, constituting up to forty percent of the final cuvée in some vintages. Though costly, this measure yields a wine of superior structure, depth and complexity.
The Maison Louis Jadot is a family-run winery that has been producing and marketing wines in Burgundy since 1859. It controls more than 250 hectares and produces only wines with AOC-status (Appellation d'Origine Contrôlée).More about the Winery
Reviews of Louis Jadot Beaujolais Villages 375ml 1999
Cherry colour, high layer. Dominating scent of red currant. Flashy flavours of red fruits.
It would have been better with meat.
Amazing cherry colour. Slight smell of tea in this Beaujolais Villages. Maison Louis Jadot with a rough taste.
Bright red and purple reflections. Deep scent, like coffee. The aftertaste lasted quite long.
