The Winery
Château Rieussec

IN THE 18TH CENTURY, the Rieussec estate belonged to the Carmes de Langon monks. The confiscation of the estate during the revolution led to its public sale around 1790 as an "object of national heritage" to Mr. Marheilhac, the period's owner of Château La Louvière at Léognan.
More about the WineryReviews of Carmes de Rieussec 375ml 2015
Has a very cheerful colour. It tasted like wine.
I took this Sauternes during a brunch.
Château Rieussec Carmes de Rieussec 375ml 2016
It would have been better with fish.
I tasted it with wine enthusiasts.
To me, this 2013 seemed more yellow than other vintages. It has aromas of white flowers. The Château Rieussec Carmes de Rieussec 375ml is fresh and light.
Good colour. Distinctive oxidation notes on the palate.
It pairs good with a strong flavoured fish.
