Deep, dark colour with a trace of purple; the bouquet is sweetly ripe and rich, with lush fruit, pepper and clove spice and a hint of star anise. This Shiraz is full-bodied and ample with generous fruit sweetness backed up by savoury, supple tannins.

- Generous, plush and rich on the palate, the 2016 over-delivers in every quarter. Mark's understated hand has crafted this wine from its beginnings in our 1847 Bethany vineyard, with select parcels from the Stonewell block to create a wine of presence, power and structure.
- Wood spice, fresh cassis & black pepper.

- Deep purple with dark berry fruits, plum, tobacco & black pepper on the nose. The palate has restrained fruit character with underlying richness, persistent & with flavours of blackcurrant, plums, dark bitter chocolate & cedar with a fine, grape tannin finish.
- Beef cheeks braised in red wine or hare pie with red wine and juniper glaze.
- Limited stock, 2014 vintage coming soon.
