Australia is not only known for koalas, Great Barrier Reef and kangaroos, but also for unique wines. The Australian red wine Peter Lehmann Masters Black Queen Sparkling Shiraz 2013 is produced in the Barossa Valley, which lies about 70 km northeast of Adelaide in the Australian state of South Australia. With a vineyard area of about 10,000 ha, it is the most famous wine-growing region in Australia.

For the Peter Lehmann Masters Black Queen Sparkling Shiraz 2013 the Syrah grape variety is produced, which was originally cultivated mainly in the French Rhone Valley. In South Africa, in Australia, in the USA and in Canada the variety is called Shiraz.

This Australian red wine presents a bouquet with aromas of plum and black cherry, which lead to an explosion of dark exotic fruits on the palate.

- Beautifully deep in colour with a persistent fine bead. The bouquet shows hints of satsuma, plum and black cherry leading to an explosion of dark exotic fruits on the palate. A very special sparkling red for times of celebration.
- Intensely flavoured Shiraz grapes from old, low-yielding vines create this wine inspired by the groundbreaking 'Sparkling Burgundy' of the 1950s - one of Australia's unique contributions to the wine world, named after the Queen of Sheba.

Better pair it with vegetables. Perfect wine to share with friends.
Deep colour at first sight. A South Australia with yeasty aromas. It has cute flavours.

With snobby guys.
It's red with a violet edge. This Peter Lehmann Masters Black Queen Sparkling Shiraz had good scents of red fruits. It tastes just like wine, as it has to be.
I drank before the main meal, with starters and snacks.
