A Penfolds Koonunga Hill Shiraz that was served as dessert of a good meal. The Penfolds Koonunga Hill Shiraz is a familiar wine of Penfolds Wines.
Cherry red colour. When you smell it you can note aromas such as licorice, violet, .... The 2014 tastes a little bit oily in the mouth.

This wine is entirely in the legendary tradition of Penfolds classic. He is a perfect pleasure and a varietal pure jewel. The Koonunga Hill Shiraz is grown up, sophisticated and friendly. The dark, almost purple red prepares hot and juicy aromas on the nose. Ripe plums and cherries mix with floral notes and finest vanilla. The body of the Shiraz is medium-bodied and frank. Blueberries give juiciness, pepper and liquorice spice up the taste. The oak notes are in nice balance to the deep Fruit: The Koonunga Hill Shiraz is soft, warm and pleasant resonating. A justifiably world acclaimed and beloved red wine.

Penfolds Koonunga Hill Shiraz is the first wine I drank with my parents.
Ruby colour at first sight, but then it has more intense hues. Reminded me of wild berries. We didn't cool it enough before drinking, but it still taste delicious.
Wine and cheese, it's a safe bet.

It was given to us in a wine tasting stand of red.
Dark red colour, reddish brown edges. Nice aromas of blackberries in this . I do not know whether this 2011 was wine or water :).
It was great on the barbecue we made.
