TASTING NOTES OF Penfolds Bin 707 Cabernet Sauvignon 2010:
- View: deep violet magenta.
- Nose: very concentrated blackcurrant, discreet oak, nuts (almond biscotti Amoretti), toasted, Granada, blackberries, rhubarb and spices.
- Mouth: firm, bodied, intense, full, a rigid structure of tannins, grip, expresso coffee, chocolate and ripe fruit, an impressive length, rhubarb, blackcurrant.
APPELLATION: Barossa Valley.
VINEYARD: Penfolds Wines
GRAPES: Cabernet Sauvignon 100%.
AGEING: 16 months in new American oak barrels.
WINE PAIRING: breast confit lamb, roasted Jerusalem artichokes and salmon with cream sauce.

Served, in the begining as elixir wines until nowadays, the high quality of its Bin made them a world renowned giant; since 1959 with the first output: Bin 28.

Red intense cherry colour and high layer. Aromas of nuts. I think it was a little bit salty.
