TASTING NOTES OF Massolino Barolo 375ml 2012:
- View: garnet red.
- Nose: wide range of variables and perfumes, from spicy to sweet tempting, floral and fruity character.
- Mouth: a variety of sensations, with a wine-bodied, classic and well structured, with the strong character of the terroir.
PAIRING: Red meats, especially game, and dishes with truffles, excellent with fresh egg pasta and meat sauce with risotto, such as goat cheese and semi-mature cow.
TEMPERATURE: 18-20 °C.
The history of the Massolinos and their wine became entwined with the Serralunga D'Alba in 1896, when Giovanni founded the Estate. Giovanni was the very first person to bring the electric current to the village.
