4 /5

The Barolo D. O. C. G. Massolino is produced from vineyards that grow in Serralunga d'Alba, one of the most common known and suited for the production of Nebbiolo. It ages in oak barrels for more than two years and a half, and then refine a further year in the bottle. With great body, with very well processed tannins, it must try the truffle of Alba.

4 /5

The classic Massolino's family Barolo, ever the one that best represents the corporate style in full respect of tradition, in the name of cleanliness and detail. It is from about 10 hectares mainly in the municipality of Serralunga d'Alba, with a balance of 5% of the town of Castiglione Falletto. The fermentation takes place in steel and / or concrete, with maceration of 20/30 days in contact with the skins. The aging continues for 24 months in wood, and for 16 months in glass. The result is an elegant wine, fleshy, marked the nose with classic notes of rose and licorice and safe to drink.
