Slight smell of tea in this Barbera d'Alba. The Cordero di Montezemolo had been cooled and offered a mild flavour.

I opened the bottle for my best friend.
Pretty cherry colour, medium opacity. It smells like wild berries. On the palate reminiscent of leather, slightly burned vanilla.
We paired it with meat but I would have prefered to pair it with another dish.
