Giacomo Borgogno & Figli

The name Borgogno has always been linked to one of the oldest wine producing houses in Langa and Piemonte. It all began in 1761 when Bartolomeo Borgogno established the cellar. In the years that followed, the stories of the company and our country often intertwined. In 1861, for instance, when the Unity of Italy came about, the Barolo di Borgogno was the wine chosen to accompany the celebration lunch of Italy’s official unity.

Ik dronk het met mijn ex.
Heeft een erg sterke kleur. Geur van rijp fruit compote. Ik dacht dat het me zuurgraad gaf.
Bij deze rode zou met zacht vlees kunnen gaan.

The ideal wine to finish a meal. The best of Giacomo Borgogno & Figli for drinking in good company.
Good red wine and reddish brown edges. Nice aromas of blackberries in this Barbera. It was a little too acid for my taste, although I'm aware that taste is a matter of choice.
