Land of age relating to the period Tortonian - Messinian "Marne of St. Agatha fossil". Rich in elements such as manganese, zinc and boron, are composed of fine particles that tend to form easily erodible laminar layers (silty marl).
Winemaking: The selected grapes were de-stemmed and crushed. Maceration lasted about 15 days at a maximum temperature of 30 ºC.
The malolactic fermentation was completed before the winter.
Aging for 12 months in barrels of French oak 75 hl and 50 hl and a small part in barriques. The additional bottle aging lasted 10 months and took place in Prunotto cellars before shipping.
