Gaja Barbaresco is garnet in color.

The nose is almost sensual in its complexity, with aromas of forest fruits, plums, licorice, mineral and coffee scents.

The taste is long, with a complex finish with fine, silk-like tannins and good acidity; dense structure, full of super-ripe fruit.

High wine vocation, with an intense nose and appariscenre spice and berry fruit: blackberry, licorice, chocolate, toffee, jam, all set in a beautiful setting. The taste confirms rigorous compatto.incipit warm and solid, Rico and elegant with tannins yet perfect teeth.

As a coincidence I visited the winery and I bought a few boxes.
Bright cherry colour, high layer. It smelled of oak. Taste of ripe fruit in the mouth.
