TASTING NOTES OF Gaja Barbaresco 2004:
- View: ruby red garnet
- Nose: wine with high calling, an intense nose with spices and soft fruit: blackberries, licorice, chocolate, candy, jams, all together in the wonderful definition.
- Mouth: rigorous, compact, warm and strong, rich and elegant, incisive tannins, but perfect flavor.

Gaja is an Italian wine producer from the Piemonte region in the district of Langhe, chiefly producing a number of Barbaresco and Barolo wines. Gaja's current owner and president Angelo Gaja is credited with developing techniques that have revolutionised winemaking in Italy.
