AGEING: Finally the wine was transferred to French oak tonneaux for 12 months and 12 months in barrels of 25 hl.

PREPARATION: Ceretto Barbaresco is the result of an assembly of the youngest vineyards in Asili and the lower part of Treiso. A total of 5 hectares are grown under organic certification without use of any chemicals that can alter the natural balance of the terroir. Once the grapes are well ripened grapes are harvested manually. Immediately transferred to the cellar grape Barbaresco Ceretto passes through fermentation with yeasts and the hat emerged in stainless steel at a controlled temperature for about 15 days. It is a process that ends with a maceration of 10-15 days.

WINE PAIRING: wine that goes perfectly as a companion for red meat dishes roasted, sausages and cheeses.

Barbaresco Ceretto is a wine produced from a 4.84 hectares vineyard from a cru called Roncaglie. Nebbiolo is manually harvested around the end of September, brought to the cellar for de-stemming and vinification. No selected yeasts are added and the alcoholic fermentation is completed in 15 days followed by 10 days of post-fermentation maceration. Then the wine is separated from the skins and placed in French oak Tonneaux aging for 12 months which is followed by 12 months in steel tanks before blending and bottling.

The Barbaresco Ceretto is the result of the union of the best grapes from the Cru of Asili and Treiso, in the province of Cuneo. The Nebbiolo grapes from different vineyards, are fermented as a single mass to better exalt its characteristics and balance. then rests for two years in wooden containers and then remained 6 months in bottle. It is a bright garnet red color with orange reflections. The nose opens with ethereal notes enriched by hints of leather and cherry jam. In the mouth it is characterized by a good body and tannins that make it attractive as a wine store in a bottle. Excellent along with roasts, strong cheeses and game.

For the meal we had, this wasn't the proper wine. A bottle of this red for two, solo.
Fantastic colour. Chocolate aromas. Warm and very tasty.

I celebrated a special occasion with Ceretto Barbaresco and my couple.
Attractive and intense colour. Toffee notes can be appreciated. It was harsh in the mouth for a Barbaresco.
It was too well-bodied for our meal.

I've purchased on this website.
The colour was between red and brown. Main smell of roses. The 2011 tastes a little bit oily in the mouth.
