A peculiarity of the Banyulus is the so-called flavor "Rancio" that develops after a long period oxidative (15 20 years).
The combinations are many, you can drink chilled as an aperitif, accompanying worthily fois gras or meat dishes cooked with red berries and is ideal with cheeses.
Round and well balanced, this Grand Cru has a very interesting copper-coloured with hints of tobacco. The smell is rich and delicately spicy, with aromas of crystallized fruits and honey in mouth.
