TASTING NOTES:
- View: deep ruby to purple, dark purple reflections.
- Nose: seductive aromas, red and black ripe sweet fruit (cherries, blackberries, black currants) and sweet candy.
- Mouth: juicy, sweet, round and full-bodied, well balanced, sweet ripe fruit, also preserved cherry jam and forest berries, delicate notes of wood, long and fruity finish, caramel, chocolate and great finesse .
APPELLATION: Banyuls.
VINES: Gérard Bertrand
GRAPES: 80% Grenache and 20% Grenache Gris.
PAIRING: wonderful appetizer with ham air dried or liverwurst fine goose, desserts fruity (compote, clafoutis, Tartes) with wild berries, cherries, prunes and figs, fondant au parboiled chocolat or mousse chocolate, spicy cheese, especially blue cheese.
