TASTING NOTES OF Gérard Bertrand Banyuls Vin Doux Naturel 2013:
- View: dark ruby purple.
- Nose: seductive aromas of sweet red and ripe black fruit (cherries, blackberries, black currants) with sweet caramel notes of spice.
- Mouth: juicy, sweet, round and full-bodied palate, very well balanced, with aromas of ripe fruit sweet, well-preserved fruits, cherry jam and berries, woody notes, a long finish, fruity with hints of caramel , chocolate and subtle spices.
APPELLATION: Banyuls.
VINEYARD: Gérard Bertrand
GRAPES: Grenache Noir: 80%, Grenache Gris: 20%.
WINE PAIRING: a wonderful aperitif, alone, of air-dried ham or foie gras, classic, fruit desserts (stewed fruit, clafoutis, cakes) with berries, cherries, plums and figs.
ALCOHOL CONTENT: 16.5%
Goed bigarreau van kleur en medium intensiteit. aroma's van geroosterd brood en rook. De smaak was als verse druiven.
Wij gebruikten het met een bonenschotel en het was erg rijk.
