When you smell it you can note aromas such as licorice, violet, .... It tastes just like wine, as it has to be.

TASTING NOTES OF Quinta Dos Abibes Reserva 2012:
- View: garnet, violet tones.
- Nose: red fruit jelly, very ripe forest fruits, floral notes, dried figs, spices and toasted notes.
- Mouth: fruity, smooth, well structured and harmonious, noble tannins.

VINES: Quinta Dos Abibes
GRAPES: Touriga Nacional, Cabernet Sauvignon.

AGEING: 12 months in French oak barrels 70% new and 30% second use, 6 months in bottle.
PREPARATION: Total Desengace, soft maceration with the skins and prolonged, alcoholic fermentation at 28 °C.

PAIRING: Red meats and strong cheeses.

I opened the bottle for my best friend.
It had an intense colour. Noticeable aromas of cherry and licorice. I liked its acidity.
It is so good that it is best taken alone.
