TASTING NOTES OF Bucaco Branco 2001:

  • View: golden yellow.
  • Nose: aromas of fruit, honey and smoke.
  • Mouth: an enormous depth of flavor and great complexity, full of suggestions of fruit, a touch smoky, range, creaminess and a great acidity and length.

APPELLATION: Bairrada.

TASTING NOTES OF Buçaco Branco 2013:
- View: Straw yellow, I goldtone.
- Nose: aromatic, with wood still very present, notes and suggestions resin nuts.
- Mouth: full-bodied, dry, spacious and very fresh, very persistent, with some citrus.

APPELLATION: Bairrada.
VINEYARD: Buçaco
GRAPES: Maria Gomes, Bical and Encruzado.

My friend brought  it from a visit to Alexandre Almeida Hotels.
An elegant Bairrada but with a very dull colour. Mashed banana smells. Mild wine flavour.
