You will like to know that…
The cellar Tommasi Viticulturists is a very famous name in the Valpolicella area and very recognized for its extreme competence, also due to its centenary history. The name Tommasi, within the wine market, is known not only in Italy, but all over the world. The wines are carefully aged in oak barrels and, among these, the Magnifica, one of the largest barrels in the world, stands out.
The outstanding product of Tommasi is, without a shadow of a doubt, the Amarone della Valpolicella Classic 2015. Amarone must have specific characteristics, since it is basically a raisin wine, due to the traditional process of drying the bunches. Classico 2015 respects all traditions and the final result is a very fine wine that does not have the distinct sweet note of a raisin wine, but is **a dry, firm and very intense red: an exquisite nectar!
Its color is a ruby red with purple reflections really captivating. The scent of cherry and plum conquers and opens to its full and velvety taste at the same time. A wine that gives its best with robust dishes such as game, meat and roasts. A delicacy that deserves a small economic sacrifice totally rewarded, with interest, from the first sip.
