4 /5

Favoured by excellent weather, the harvest in South Tyrol has brought high quality wine grapes: ripe, undamaged, with a sugar content higher than average and good acidity. A harvest of this level has all the credentials to give the 2009 title of "historic vintage", punctuated by high-class labels. White wines in general have very clean flavors, good structure and good flavor. Even red wines, thanks to intense days of sun and dry climate that has characterized the months prior to the collection, touching tips of true excellence.

Red colour followed by reddish brown. Aromas of oak. The taste was a bit salty, I was greatly surprised.
The Tramin Hexenbichler Schiava is the ideal wine to pair it with wild boar sausages.
My best friend from Alto Adige recommended it to me .
