St. Michael Eppan Pinot Nero Alto Adige Riserva 2017 (Pinot Nero)

- Nose: Pinot Nero Riserva comes with feminine scent of sweet fruit, flowers, minerals and spices.
- Mouth: Thin and delicate on the palate with great balance. Complex and multifaceted, with intense fruit flavors.
APPELLATION: Trentino-Alto-Adige (Italy).
VINEYARD: St. Michael Eppan.
GRAPES: Pinot Noir.
AGEING: Pinot Nero Riserva aged for a minimum of two years in the cellar before being marketed.
PREPARATION: The harvest is carried out between late September and early October, after which it is subjected to pressing and the must is fermented in steel tanks. After malolactic fermentation, fermentation in stainless steel for 15 days and then the wine remains in large oak barrels (70%) and barriques (30%) .The fermentation slowly in small oak barrels maximizes the characteristics making diverse , clearly complex and fruity with a nice touch of vanilla.
WINE PAIRING: Excellent with pasta dishes with meat sauces or soups with vegetables, but it is best with grilled red meat, cheese and grilled dishes based on mushrooms.
RECOMMENDED SERVING TEMPERATURE: 16-18 ° C
