“The Lagrein Earth of Ritterhof line comes from vineyards that are located in the municipality of Gries, in the heart of the lowlands. It is obtained from Lagrein grapes, carefully selected by hand after the harvest. The vinification is traditional in stainless steel tanks for about 10 days at a controlled temperature. The wine is aged in large wooden barrels before being bottled. It comes at the sight of a ruby red color. The nose expresses clear hints of berries, accompanied by pleasant shades of licorice. The palate is balanced and round, with a velvety texture and good tannin structure. Ideal with pasta dishes, grilled meats, game and aged cheeses.”
