Franz Haas Pinot Nero Alto Adige 2016

Pinot Noir is characterized by a complex colors. It can range from dark pink to the strong ruby red, very dependence of the vintage. The color alone makes no statement about the goodness of the wine. In his early life he develops intense aromas of raspberries and cherries that while developing his tire forest fruit flavors. In the mouth, the Pinot Noir is characterized by an elegant tannin which is possible effect the wine very harmonious and soft. Fits poultry and tender red meat.

Franz Haas Alto Adige Pinot Nero 2016

I enjoyed it without pairing. It was a gift for my brother and he enjoyed it very much.
I especially liked the colour. I loved the smell of baking. On the palate reminiscent of leather, slightly burned vanilla.

The Pinot Noir is an absolutely atypical grape variety, the whitest of the reds, which is often pressed into white wine and is the basis for one of the white wines par excellence: champagne. Delicatissimo and difficult to treat, it gives an elegant and refined wine, fragrant and fruity, especially here it has even more distinctive features. The Pinot Nero Franz Haas ripens in oak barrels for a year. Follow in the bottle for 5-10 months.

I got this Franz Haas Pinot Nero Alto Adige in a wine stand.
It's a red with an opaque tone. Cedarwood aromas. The texture of this wine from Franz Haas was oily.
