“TASTING NOTES:View: pale green, key green nuances, slightly yellow like lemon leaves in spring, some silver touches, pleasantly bright and vivid, delicate tears.Nose: fresh and lively, clean, pleasantly aromatic and fruity bouquet, green apple, lemon grass, ginger, white peach, fresh moss, black currant, a nice touch of muscat, authentic and expressiveMouth: dry and fresh, lively, taut and elegantly structured with depth and persistence and an attractively landscaped end.APPELLATION: Alsace.VINEYARD: Vineyards predominantly clay and limestone, in a dozen of the most favored localities in and around Riquewihr.GRAPES: Riesling.PREPARATION: grapes carried in small containers to presses, filled by gravity, without pumping or other mechanical intervention. After pressing, decanting wine for a few hours, then fermented in barrels or vats with controlled temperature (between 18 and 24 °C). Trasegado came once before clarification during the winter.
