  • Nose: It opens on notes of dried fruit, hazelnut, and fresh walnuts. Then the aroma of fresh russet pear with its implication of pleasant bitterness and juicy fruit appears.
  • Mouth: On the palate, Josmeyer Pinot Gris Le Fromenteau 2015 is slender and dry, showing even more of the purity of the fruit. The finish echoes this with delicate pears and lemon freshness.

APPELLATION: Alsace Pinot gris

VINEYARD: Since 2004, the entire Josmeyer vineyard has been under organic and biodynamic cultivation. This more demanding and qualitative form allows a symbiosis between the sky, the earth, the plants, and man. The close relationship between these four elements generates a noble grape that, in turn, will give birth to a dense and balanced wine with a unique personality.

GRAPES: 100% Pinot Gris

PREPARATION: Hand-harvested and pneumatically pressed (for between 5-8 hours), the grapes, exclusively organic and biodynamic agriculture, return their aromas to the must. They ferment spontaneously without the addition of selected enzymes or yeasts and without chaptalization. The fermentation lasts from one to four months. The wine is aged in oak or stainless steel tanks according to the case.

PAIRING: This wine goes great with mushrooms and other vegetables. Risotto adapts well to it as do terrines or small game birds. The liver, meatballs, or fried foods will delight your palate.
