TASTING NOTES:

  • View: garnet with purple trim and high layer.
  • Nose: floral, fresh, fruity; spicy notes of licorice and chocolate.
  • Mouth: powerful, rich medium and long end.

APPELLATION: Alicante.

VINEYARD: Vineyards between 25 and 30 years of age on very calcareous soils at an altitude of 640 meters.

GRAPES: Monastrell.

AGEING: 6 months in American oak barrels.

PREPARATION: Vintage done manually.

PAIRING: Red meats, barbecues and lentils with chorizo

TASTING NOTES:

  • View: Live cherry red color, with a delicate violet edges.
  • Nose: clear fruity aromas are perceived, highlighted by ripe red fruit. With hints of caramel, coffee along with balsamic and mineral notes.
  • Mouth: The palate is perceived fresh and creamy, with a delicious fruity and oily, intense, medium-bodied taste and a very long aftertaste.

APPELLATION: Alicante.

VINEYARD: Bodegas Volver.

GRAPES: 100% Monastrell.

AGEING: Aged for 6 months in American oak barrels.

PREPARATION: From vineyards between 40 and 45 years old and a brief 6-month aging in oak barrels that were previously used in other vintages for Dais Hill.

WINE PAIRING: Perfect accompaniment to red meat, barbecue or lentils with chorizo.

RECOMMENDED TEMPERATURE SERVICE: 15-17 °C

A really tasteful wine of red ruby colour. When you smell it you can note aromas such as licorice, violet, ....Tasty, the ripe fruit with a pleasant presence.
I like it with the meat we ate.
I like sharing this red Alicante with someone special.
