El Sequé 2015 is a fantastic "vino de pueblo" wine made by Bodegas y Viñedos El Sequé, which is part of the Artadi Group. El Sequé 2015 is a rich, potent, balsamic, meaty and mellow wine. It is typical of the red wines made from the Monastrell variety, in this case coming from old vineyards owned by the winery. A clear Mediterranean expression stands out and this wine distinguishes itself with its scents of black fruit and balsamic touches as well as its underwood and floral touches. This is, without a doubt, an exceptional wine that will entice you with its seriousness and fruity mellow sweetness.

Robert Parker: 94/100 (El Sequé 2015)
The textbook red 2015 El Sequé, pure Monastrell from 30- to 40-year-old vines, fermented in open-top stainless steel tanks after a 24- to 48-hour cold soak with pigeage and pumping over. It matured in 500-liter French oak casks for one year. It's ripe, lush and velvety, with ripe fruit and tannins, very Mediterranean. The mouthfeel is soft, with juicy tannins and a velvety texture. It has the character of the grape and the place and the elegance only the best Monastrell is capable of. 50,000 bottles were filled in February 2017.
