Terras del Rei 2018 (Aragonêz, Moreto and Trincadeira)

TASTING NOTES:

  • View: crystal wine, crimson.
  • Nose: Notes with a nose full of ripe fruit.
  • Mouth: It is a soft, medium-bodied wine on the palate.

APPELLATION: Alentejo, Portugal.

VINEYARD: Rui Evenings.

GRAPES: Castelão, Aragonez, Moreto, Trincadeira.

AGEING: The wine ages in tanks, it is stabilized and filtered before bottling, which takes place within a year.

PREPARATION: The grapes handpicked by producers are downloaded, de-stemmed and crushed immediately. Adding yeast of choice begins fermentation at controlled temperatures (28 ° C). Maceration, or joint fermentation of grapes and skins, occurs during this period via a cyclic pumping up the must at the bottom of the tubs in order to obtain a higher extraction of colors and tannins (responsible body wine ). This maceration process continues for about five days, while the fermentation continues until all the sugar is converted into alcohol. Follows the basic malolactic fermentation for the relaxation of our wines.

WINE PAIRING: A good accompaniment for roasts and cheeses.

RECOMMENDED TEMPERATURE SERVICE: 14-16 ° C

ALCOHOL: 13.5%
