  • Nose: Fruity bouquet, charged with notes of red fruits, sherries, and raspberries.
  • Mouth: Medium body and mild tannins unfold on the palate. Fruity notes of ripe blackcurrant and a spicy undertone. The finish is long and lasting, with a fruity aftertaste.


VINEYARD: Enoforum Carmim Group. CARMIM - Cooperativa Agrícola de Reguengos de Monsaraz - is a cooperative formed by nearly 9000 growers which adds up to about 3600 hectares of vineyard. Located in the Alentejo region in Portugal, this group currently produces all wine varieties, whites, reds, sparkling, young, and reserve, as well as some liqueurs and oils.

GRAPES: 50% Trincadeira, 40% Aragonez, and 10% Castelão.

AGEING: This young wine is aged for a little less than a year.

PREPARATION: The grapes are harvested manually, and carefully destemmed and crushed upon arrival to the winery. Fermentation is carried out using selected yeasts, and is conducted at a controlled temperature of 26°C with a pumping-over system and a maceration stage that lasts for about one week. The wine is later filtered and aged until it reaches the desired stage of maturity.

PAIRING: This mild red works well with beef, lamb, veal, and poultry dishes, as well as roasts, sausages, and some cheeses.




Cooperativa Agrícola de Reguengos de Monsaraz - was created in 1971 by a group of 60 winegrowers with the aim of producing and marketing wine, from the grapes of a group of winemakers from the region. This red is an absolute steal.. Drinks like it could be double the price!
I think that it could go very well with roasts, sausage and cheeses.

It had a very shutdown colour. Raspberry aromas quite present. Powerful taste of wild berries.
The Reguengos is the ideal wine with wild boar sausages.
We drank a pair of bottles of Reguengos 2012 with my friend.
