TASTING NOTES Pontual Syrah 2015:

  • Nose: Intense aroma, notes of ripe forest fruits, black fruits with spicy notes.

Nice and pretty colour. Toasted and smoky aromas. The grape had an evident presence.
It's better not to pair it and drink it alone.

Best paired with other food than the one we ordered. I had it at some good friends house.
Bright red and purple reflections. Smells good, like a mix of raspberry und strawberry. This red is lasting, it has a long aftertaste.

TASTING NOTES:
- View: dark ruby.
- Nose: intense and concentrated aroma, outstanding chemical notes.
- Mouth: tasty, with volume enough fruit, soft tannins and a casing end.

APPELLATION: Alentejo.
VINEYARD: Terroir: Schist soils.
GRAPES: Syrah.

AGEING: aged for 6 months in American oak barrels and French.
PREPARATION: total clearance of grapes, maceration prefermentiva 1 or 2 days. alcoholic stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature of 25C, followed by fermentation malolactic fermentation.

PAIRING: Red on the grill, game meats such as deer and roe deer and roasts, cheeses meats.
TEMPERATURE: 17-18ºC
ALCOHOL CONTENT: 14%
