Herdade Dos Grous 2015 (Aragonêz, Touriga Nacional, Syrah and Alicante Bouschet)

TASTING NOTES of Herdade Dos Grous 2015:

  • View: Deep lively garnet.
  • Nose: ripe fruit and mint.
  • Mouth: rich fruity, concentrated and with a long finish.

APPELLATION: Alentejo

VINEYARD: Herdade dos Grous

GRAPES: Aragonêz, Alicante Bouschet, Syrah, Touriga Nacional,

AGING: new French oak barrels.

PREPARATION: The hand-picked grapes are destemmed and then cooled down by thermal shock to 10°C. After two days of cold maceration the wine ferments in small steel tanks.

PAIRING: Chicken, Meat, Roast, Pasta, Pasta Bolognese

TEMPERATURE: 14-16°C

ALCOHOL: 14%

Deep, concentrated plummy-red tones; Complex aromas. Mature well integrated fruit. Full-flavoured, good concentration, soft tannin structure.

Nice red Bordeaux. Toffee notes can be appreciated. For me it tasted like grape.
