Herdade do Peso Vinha do Monte Branco 2015

Tasting Notes: Citrus color with greenish tinge. Fruity aroma very elegant and combined with mineral notes andvegetables nuances that give great freshness. Mouth with lively acidity, again great harmony between allthe aromas, a medium-bodied wine, very elegant and long finish. Serving at: 8-10ºC. We recommend with: Saladas | Pratos leves | Peixe | Marisco | Aperitivo.

Vinha do Monte Branco 2015

A good white to finish the meal properly. A special white wine for someone just as special .
It is a beautiful golden yellow colour. Honeyed aromas. It's funny the little bitter taste left by the end of this white.

Vinha do Monte 2015

I drank this  with my partner.
To me, this 2015 seemed more yellow than other vintages. The Vinha do Monte reminded me of jasmine on the nose. I liked it because it was as light as water.
Unfortunately, it did not match with food, although the wine was really ok.

Vinha do Monte 2014
My boyfriend brought me this wine bottle.
Gorgeous cherry and high layer. The smell of this Vinha do Monte reminds me somehow of menthol candy. Nice taste.

Vinha do Monte 2014
TASTING NOTES:
It has a yellow citrus hue an intense and elegant fruity bouquet, with a prevalence of pear and white flowers. Its palate is harmonious, well-balanced and fresh, typical of fine Vidigueira white wines.
- Winemaker: Luis Cabral de Almeida
- Winemaking: It was made using the most sophisticated technology from carefully selected grapes, picked at the optimum ripening stage from an aromatic, alcohol and acidity perspective. On arrival at the winery, and after de-stemming, a soft crushing and pressing were carried out, in order to extract and select a must that was clarified until the required degree of limpidity was reached. Thereafter, for about 17 days, alcoholic fermentation took place in stainless steel tanks at a 15ºC-16ºC controlled temperature. It matured in stainless steel tanks for about 4 months. This was followed by blend preparation and subsequent treatments required for bottling, including fining, cold-stabilisation and subsequent filtering.
- Grape Varieties: Antão Vaz, Arinto, Roupeiro.
- Food Pairing: It is a refreshing and flavoursome wine, ideal on its own or as an aperitif. It is excellent with various fish dishes, some white meats and various salads.
- Store and Serve Advices: The bottle should be kept horizontally in a dry and cool place, sheltered from light. The wine will develop further for about one to two years after bottling. This wine should be served at between 8ºC-10ºC.
