Esporão Reserva 2012 (Aragonêz, Cabernet Sauvignon and Trincadeira)
TASTING NOTES:
- Colour: Esporão Reserva 2012 shows a light ruby color.
- Nose: intense nose, ripe red fruit aromas and well integrated with the wood noeuf, chocolate, vanilla and spices.
- Palate: elegant, ripe fruit and strong tannins but well integrated that give great richness and complexity. The finish is long and persistent.
PAIRING: the perfect accompaniment for dishes with mushrooms, octopus risotto, meat skewers.
CAVE: Herdade do Esporão.
GRAPES: Cabernet Sauvignon, Aragonês, Trincadeira, Alicante Bouschet.
AGING: fermented in tank and then aged in a mixture of American (70%) and French (30%) oak (33% new, 33% one year old, 33% two years old) for 12 months.
