Esporão Private Selection is sparkling white straw-colored. The scent complex aromas of peach and pear combined with the spiciness of the oak. Elegant taste with an endless aftertaste. The absolute top of the Portuguese Esporão winery.

Herdade do Esporão has a unique terroir, which derives from the combination of a very particular climate, which is regulated and attenuated by the large central lake, as well as different soil types, exposures and a long-standing winegrowing heritage of local grape varieties and others from other Portuguese and international winegrowing regions. The typically Mediterranean landscape consists of rolling plains that occupy a total area of over 1,800 hectares, 450 hectares of which are vineyards and around 80 hectares of olive groves.

Esporão Private Selection 2015
Herdade do Esporão, my favourite wines.
I don't know much about wines from Alentejo, but I was surprised by the golden brown colour. A white with aromas of white flowers. Light on the palate.
A perfect white can go with all kinds of pickles.

Esporão Private Selection Branco
That white is perfect for special occasions.
I liked the golden yellow colour. Smells like honey. Compared to other Alentejo it was rough.
A wine of  will fix any meal.
