“Aglianico del Vulture Rotondo Paternoster originates from vineyards situated at Villa Rotondo, in the Agro of Barile, an area particularly suitable for the cultivation of Aglianico grapes. It is produced only with Aglianico grapes, harvested and selected entirely by hand between 15 and 20 October. The fermentation takes place in traditional red, with maceration of the skins for 10 days at a controlled temperature of 25-28 ° C. After malolactic fermentation, the wine is aged for 14 months in oak barrels, and for a further 12 months in bottle before being marketed. Aglianico del Vulture Rotondo Paternoster is ruby red in color. The nose opens with intense spicy notes with touches of licorice. In the mouth it shows juicy and concentrated, with a pleasantly fruity hints of raspberry and jam. Perfect to accompany the lamb and red meat, it is ideal in combination with cheese.”
“The Rotondo area, in Bariles Countryside, has always been one of the most suggestive and desirable sites for the growing of the Aglianico variety. There, is located the vineyard Villa RoTondo, belonging to the family.”

“It's a red with an opaque tone. Smells a lot of oak. A taste of nothing in particular, just wine.
I think the best pairing would be with meat.
Paternoster Aglianico del Vulture Rotondo is the first wine I drank with my parents.”
