Basilisco Aglianico del Vulture Basilisco 2012 (Aglianico)
- View: ruby, intense purple tones.
- Nose: complex aromas, a distinctive balsamic aroma, notes of berries, plum, blackberry and cherry.
- Mouth: elegant and persistent, with fullness and roundness, well expressed and long spicy finish tannic texture.
APPELLATION: Aglianico del Vulture.
VINEYARD: altitude of 450 meters above sea level, exposure to the southeast. Volcanic soil, tuffaceous and clayey.
AGEING: 12 - 18 months in French oak barrels hand I and II. Maturation of 12 months minimum.
PREPARATION: fermentation and maceration in stainless steel tanks for 15/30 days.
PAIRING: pappardelle with hare ragù, with brodetto lamb, roasted red meats and aged cheeses.
TEMPERATURE: 16-18 °C
ALCOHOL CONTENT: 14.5%
