Fox Gordon Princess Adelaide Hills Fiano 2017
TASTING NOTES:
- View: It is almost colorless, with green reflections in the glass.
- Nose: This is an especially fragrant wine with notes of tropical fruit mango, melon, orange and green, herbs basil and sage, vanilla and a touch of hazelnut.
- Mouth: A soft, creamy texture with a nice depth of flavor. One detects notes of guava fruity, pear and melon with crisp acidity. Apple green softened by subtle oak and vanilla tones. The finish is balanced, with notes of Mediterranean herbs emerging before the finish.
APPELLATION: Adelaide Hills (South Australia).
VINEYARD: Fox Gordon.
GRAPES: Fiano.
AGEING: Bottled immediately after vinification.
PREPARATION: The wine was made with minimal intervention in order to preserve the unique characteristics of the varietal. The fermentation was conducted at cold temperature while keeping lees for seven days.
WINE PAIRING: Roasted chicken, salmon, tuna, paella, seafood, cheddar or Gruyere cheese.
RECOMMENDED SERVING TEMPERATURE: 7-13 ° C
