The Errazuriz la Cumbre 2014 was wonderful

Reviews of other vintages of Errazuriz la Cumbre 20142011

4/5

The Errazuriz 2011 La Cumbre is a mature version of the Single Vineyard Syrah. The wine comes from a vineyard of 2 hectares of vineyard in the Aconcagua hill (hence the name La Cumbre, meaning hilltop in Spanish). The La Cumbre from Errazuriz is aromatic and quite showy, with floral notes (violets, dried roses), blueberries, a hint of smoked bacon with well-balanced acidity. The wood is perfectly integrated (45% of the barrels are new and the wine matures hieron for at least 20 months). Elegantly structured with delicate tannins and a great glass of wine and this is also echoed by Parker who gave this version 92/100 points
